FAQ
What is the Image Library?
The Image Library is a curated collection of professional, editorial-style photography created specifically for nonprofit storytelling.
It provides flexible, human-centered imagery that can be used across websites, social media, newsletters, reports, and fundraising materials, without the complexity of traditional stock licensing.
Who is this library designed for?
This library is built for:
Nonprofit communications teams
Development and fundraising staff
Foundations and mission-driven organizations
Small teams doing meaningful work
If your organization relies on storytelling to build trust and connection, this was created for you.
How is this different from stock photography?
This library was created specifically with nonprofit use in mind.
The imagery is:
Inclusive and emotionally grounded
Designed to feel real, not staged
Organized around themes nonprofits actually use
Licensed clearly and simply
There are no generic “corporate” visuals or AI-generated imagery, ever.
How can we use the images?
Core Library Access allows use across:
Websites
Social media
Email newsletters
PDFs and reports
Flyers and printed materials
Images may be used for day-to-day nonprofit communications while your subscription is active.
Paid advertising use is available as an optional add-on.
Do we own the images?
No. Images are licensed, not sold.
While your subscription is active, your organization has permission to use the images according to the licensing terms.
Images are non-exclusive and may be licensed to multiple nonprofit organizations.
Are the images exclusive to our organization?
No. The library is shared among subscribing nonprofit organizations.
If you require exclusive, organization-specific imagery, custom photography services are available separately.
What is the difference between Core Library Access and Signature Access?
Core Library Access covers everything most nonprofits need for everyday communications.
Signature Access includes:
Early access to seasonal collections
Access to limited-release galleries
The ability to submit up to three curation requests per year
Curation requests help guide future collections but do not guarantee custom shoots or exclusive content.
Can we request specific images?
Signature Access members may submit a limited number of curation requests each year.
These requests help inform future shoots and collections but are not custom commissions.
If you need tailored, exclusive imagery, custom photography can be arranged separately.
How often is new imagery added?
New, seasonally inspired collections are added throughout the year.
The library grows intentionally and thoughtfully rather than on a rigid monthly schedule, prioritizing quality and usability.
Can we use images in paid ads?
Yes, absolutely!
Is there a contract?
There are no long-term contracts.
Plans renew annually or monthly. You may adjust or cancel your plan at renewal.
Are model releases in place?
Yes. All individuals featured in the library have signed appropriate model releases that allow images to be licensed for nonprofit communications use.
Images are not licensed for political advertising or misleading contexts.
What if we’re a very small nonprofit?
Many small nonprofits choose the annual plan for budget simplicity.
If you’re unsure about fit, you’re always welcome to reach out before subscribing.
How do we get started?
Choose a plan, complete checkout, and you’ll receive immediate access to the Image Library.
From there, you can begin downloading and using images right away.
