Deborah Jane, owner of Botanica Village Apothecary in Fair Oaks Village, wanted a collection of images that reflected the heart of her business. Every product she creates begins with a deep respect for plants, the land, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Whenever possible, her ingredients are locally sourced and organically grown, biodynamic, wildcrafted, or homegrown.

Because nature is woven into everything she does, it felt only natural to photograph her both in her beautiful apothecary and along the American River in Fair Oaks. The result is a gallery of authentic, story-driven images that capture not only what she creates, but why she creates it.
