Spring in Northern California is my favorite season! I love hearing the birds chirping, especially the Mourning Doves around dusk. The light softens and suddenly the world is a happier place. In my opinion, Spring is the best time for portraits because the light is so soft that you can take pictures all day. It’s the perfect backdrop for gorgeous, natural light family portraits.

This is a short list of my favorite places to take spring pictures in Sacramento County.
